Disability Cultural Center
The Disability Cultural Center (DCC) supports disability community and education for disabled students, faculty, staff and alumni and all members of the University community. The first of its kind in Texas, the DCC works to create and sustain a sense of belonging for disabled people who study, teach and work at UT. In collaboration with campus partners, the DCC strives to create a community where disability is respected and valued as an important part of our campus community, and accessibility is built into the structure and design of all aspects of campus life.

The Discovery to Impact team at The University of Texas at Austin brings research discoveries to the marketplace to impact the world. Working with world-class inventors, investors, creators and entrepreneurs, Discovery to Impact launches startups and collaborate with established businesses to accelerate new products, services, solutions and cures.
GIS and Geospatial Data Services
The Libraries provides geographic information system (GIS) and geospatial data services for university faculty, students and staff across all disciplines and departments. We can help ensure that you have the software, data, technical training, and other resources you might need to successfully carry out any type of geospatial research project. Our goal is to facilitate geospatial research at the university by helping scholars overcome the technical challenges of working with geographic information in all phases of the research lifecycle.
Horns Helping Horns
Horns Helping Horns is a program that provides students with financial support, professional development, mentorship, resource navigation, community, and one-on-one support/intervention with program coordinators as needed.
Lab for Immersive Media
The Lab for Immersive Media (LIM) is a high tech interactive and immersive media laboratory that enables novel research and entertainment experiences in virtual and physical space. A key goal of the LIM is to broaden research impact through partnerships, public engagement, and unique collaborations between art and science.
Longhorn TIES Neurodiversity Support
Longhorn TIES (Transition, Illuminate, Empower, Success) Neurodiversity Support within the Office of New Student Services coordinates and facilitates autism and neurodiversity initiatives at UT Austin. Longhorn TIES seeks to enhance the student experience for students who identify as autistic or neurodivergent through advocacy, connections and training throughout their tenure at the university.
Office of Community Engagement
The community engagement team in the Undergraduate College stewards sustainable relationships with local, regional, and statewide communities and organizations toward the goal of supporting mutual benefit for communities and the people of The University.
Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dell Medical School
The Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Dell Medical School supports the people, programs, and opportunities that accelerate the translation of medical innovation to health care at scale. The office develops key programmatic initiatives and innovative entrepreneurial training within Dell Med and collaboratively across the University and Central Texas. The office also serves as an integral part of Health Starts Here, the strategic plan for The University of Texas Medical Center, anchored by Dell Med. The office empowers opportunities across research, education and clinical care to accelerate transformative innovation and entrepreneuership. Areas of focus include: 1. Catalyzing Health Innovations Through Strategic Programs, 2. Developing Innovative Training Opportunities for Talent Empowerment, 3. the NEXXUS Program, and 4. the Texas Health Catalyst Associate Program.
Research Data Services
The UT Libraries Research Data Services team can provide assistance in all phases of the research lifecycle, from the earliest planning stages through to data dissemination and preservation. To help researchers follow data management best practices and comply with data management policies, we offer personalized project consultation meetings, online guides, skill building workshops, and support for resources like the Texas Data Repository and DMPTool.
