Research Impact Partners

The Master Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of Austin and The University of Texas at Austin facilitates research opportunities for City departments to collaborate more easily with university researchers. This form is for current COA Staff and UT Principal Investigators (PIs). The information provided on this form will be used to match City Departments with UT researchers.

This team supports training for Dell Med researchers and learners conducting translational investigation, as well as the development of an integrated learning health system in which research is embedded in, drives and reinforces excellence in clinical, educational and community-focused missions.

STEM Girl Day at UT Austin is a FREE event for K-8th grade students and their families, educators, and other adults. Presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM) in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin, UT Austin hosts the largest Girl Day program of its kind in the world! (PK-8 students)

Offers monthly challenges focused on honing computer science skills and engaging women to take action, collaborate, and create with one another.

The summer High School Research Academy (HSRA) provides high school students with an immersive and hands-on five-week interdisciplinary research experience at the University of Texas at Austin campus. (Including 9th-12th grade students)

Connects, convenes, and advocates for public scholars and artists committed to creating a more caring and just world.

The Collaborative engages the K-12 community in meaningful educational experiences that have a profound impact, empowering participants to pursue STEM education at the primary, secondary, and university levels. It also builds partnerships with industry and the community to provide Texas students with STEM opportunities that address issues of disparity and diversity in STEM fields and the growing need for STEM professionals. The Collaborative includes 57 organizations across the University that reach students as early as possible, overcoming academic, social, and/or economic challenges to bridge their world with the world of engineering and computational science. The Latino Research Institute supports the production of research and community-based projects that conduct health/social equity and public policy research.
