Statistics, Measurement, And Research design Techniques in Educational Research (SMARTER)

The Statistics, Measurement, And Research design Techniques in Educational Research (SMARTER) consulting office provides support for College of Education faculty and graduate students’ research design and quantitative analysis needs. SMARTER can help by discussing any aspect of a quantitative study, from the specific, such as choosing a statistical model to address a research question, interpreting the results of an analysis, conducting a power analysis, or suggesting or critiquing a research design, to the general, such as assisting with formulation of research questions and statistical hypotheses or serving as a sounding board for research ideas.

STEM Evaluation Services

Provides rigorous, high-quality research and evaluation services that are customized to best serve each project's unique needs. TACC evaluators collaborate with PIs, researchers, administrators, staff, and key stakeholders to help shape the evaluation, inform data collection methods, and effectively use findings for improving programs and demonstrating impacts.

STEM Girl Day at UT Austin

UT Austin’s national award-winning STEM Girl Day is a FREE event, presented by Women in STEM, and gives K-8th grade students and their families, educators, and other adults a chance to explore STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities hosted by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians and other STEM enthusiasts from student organizations, research centers, corporate partners and community organizations.

Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) Education and Outreach

The Education and Outreach Directorate at the Texas Advanced Computing Center provides K-20 programming to address 21st-century workforce development needs. This includes STEM summer camps for middle school and high school students, research experiences for undergraduate students and educators, fellowships, internships, and public outreach.

Women in STEM Summer Camps and Academies

Women in STEM (WiSTEM) on-campus summer camps and virtual academies provide rising 10th through 12th-grade high school students with the opportunity to explore STEM college majors and career paths, gain hands-on STEM experiences and STEM career skills, connect with STEM role models, and learn about university resources and the admissions process.
